IFS and Healing with Psychedelics with Nancy Morgan

Episode: 133

My book, The One Inside: 30 Days to Your Authentic Self, is available wherever you get books. Or on amazon here:

On today’s podcast I talk with Dr. Nancy Morgan, Certified IFS Therapist. Nancy wrote the IFS and Psychedelic chapter in the new upcoming book, “Altogether Us” which will be released around August 2023.

I spoke with Nancy on episode 47 when we focused her role as Director of LifeMoves Behavioral Health and Training Programs, a California agency dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness. Nancy introduced IFS into the training curriculum during the 2015-2016 year.

Today, we have a much different discussion. You may be here because you love Nancy and want to know and hear how she is and what is going on with her as she was recently diagnosed with cancer. You may be here and you do not know Nancy personally or professionally, you want to know more about IFS or you want to know about psychedelics.

Whatever reason brought you to this episode I am glad you are here, and I feel incredibly honored that Nancy shares her heart and story with us.

The first half of this episode is heavier around the history of psychedelics and the integration with IFS. Nancy shares more of her story in the second half, although it is weaved throughout.

I start recording as soon as I meet with each guest, and most of that beginning matter is edited out. I decided to leave our entire conversation just as it is.
