Episode: 101
On today’s episode I chat with David Mederios, Level Two trained IFS therapist. David has been a program assistant for multiple level one and level two trainings. He has presented at several annual IFS conferences. He spent a year working with Dr. Richard Schwartz and co-presented their experience treating someone diagnosed with Schizophrenia at an annual IFS Conference. David collaborated on the production of Good Grief, which toured nationally.
David and I have a lot of a laughs throughout this ‘101’ episode.
Here is a bit of an outline:
How we met and importance of Dance Parties
His presentation and experience with his patient with Schizophrenia
Drumming Lessons: asking for help and life lessons
His book. Civility and Responsibility. Working with Families struggling in Domestic Violence
His goal in writing his book- especially in light of the 2020 election, Capital Riots, and Covid.
The Foundation for Self Leadership Web series- He is co-leading the first one. STARTS 9/3/21
I tell a little bit about my upcoming book, “The One Inside: 30 Days to Your Authentic Self.”
He plays the drums for us to close us out.
This is a ‘funky’ episode!
